Just playing around with the LiveCD, and I notice that it has only Linux-type
file systems, none of the M$-types at all.
I realise this is a Linux tool, but many boxes still have vfat or msdos file
systems on them that users might want access to. Also, most USB memory
devices are msdos formated. I wanted to play around with this before
building, and found that I couldn't open my USB memory stick because msdos
was not supported in the kernel?
In addition to building LFS systems, this CD should also be usefull for
exploring and repairing the box it's booted on.
It just seems a bit short-sighted and petty not to include such common file
system types. They are in more places than just M$ Windows boxes.
Just my thoughts.
Cheers,
John Gay
