Yeah, I must admit, this was a little on the evil side. I don't think one could make use of the facilities scsi/sg.h provides without including some other standard headers. However, I was taught that my headers should be self-sufficient - i.e. they should #include anything they need. Like you though, I know my limits, and reporting a glibc bug is beyond them now (having already been burned by doing so previously).
