Thanks (Keith and Matt).

I tried a couple of firewall testers - excellent results, just the ports
that I had specifically opened (22,25,80), and then I tried out my mail
server with abuse.net - and I'm not an open relay!

I now have confidence to get my webserver running.

I pay a bit extra for a fixed IP, so I wanted to get some mileage from it.
