I've been messin around with freebsd lately, and I'm wondering if
anyone else has thought about this...

FreeBSD has this "linux compatibility" stuff. If you install a port
that requires it (the linux-flashplayer plugin, for example) what
happens is that rpm(source) is downloaded, compiled, and then used to
install rpms of redhat 8. It basically installs a mini redhat system
to use for linux emulation. Why not let it build a mini lfs system
instead?

Ideas?
