Hello.

Here's a question that I've been pondering for a while which I thought you guys might humour me with an answer to.

I know that LFS is all about gaining control of your linux, so all software is compiled from source. However, there are a few packages which I need for work which are not open source (the best example is Maple). So, if I want to install Maple I can't compile it myself.

Is there an LFS policy for this situation?

Cheers all

Dave
