Hello,
I have spent a few hours now trying to concieve why my script keeps
complaining and my frustration has reached its limits. Basically I have a
text file of content:
VERSION:
2.6.12.0
LAST UPDATED:
21 Dec 2005
BUILD TIME:
61s / 10 SBU(s)
DEPENDENCIES:
<none>
What I want my script to do is
1) find a line starting with "BUILD TIME"
2) fetch a new line
3) replace it with new data
What I have so far is:
sed -e '/BUILD/{n; cNEW_DATA; }' .project
I get "unmatched `{'" error. Anyone can enlighten me why this thing isn't
behaving itself? Any help much appreciated!
Kind regards,
David Ciecierski
