Note that perhaps not all of your USB ports will be able to utilize the
keyboard at BIOS time. I have 8 USB ports on one of my machines, and
only some can be used. There are 2 different USB controller chips- all
the ports connected to one are usable, but not the other, at bios time.
That means that I need to use those ports if I want to make selections
via GRUB.

Aside from that, it all works flawlessly once the correct HID stuff is
built in.
