Hi all, anyone who is interested in the BBC's new iplayer and on-demand on-line product strategy should try to visit their website and contribute to the consultation. There are a couple of key issues for Linux users:
Their reliance on DRM, and their seemingly short-sighted proposal to only support the iPlayer on Microsoft software (and possibly MACs). Their report, the overview of what they are planning and an on-line form are all available from here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/consult/open_consultations/ondemand_services.html Cheers Alan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-chat FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
