I have a supermicro SC822I 2u chassis. It came with a 300 watt psu, which I attempted to replace with an ablecom SP502-2S 500 watt hotswapable. It doesn't seem to work that way. After disassembling the 300 watt psu I see I do not have the psu cable, or chassis for the psu.
Can I still use the new psu in this chassis, and if so, what do I need to do it? This is my first rackmount, and I'm out of my league. robert
