Hi,

I'm looking for a guide to system libraries, specifically regarding,
file permissions. I've looked around a bit on tldp.org and a few google
searches; I've also looked at the lsb, but I haven't been able to find
a guide that mentions anything about file permissions.

I've noticed that on a base lfs system the /usr/lib permissions are sort
of all over the place, and on an debian system the permissions are
relatively consistent.

Any point in the right direction would be appreciated.
Trent.
