I forgot...
More relevant than replicating my machine, is that you can build it, use it, 
change it, install packages, and then you can run:
/root/replication-system/bin/packup.sh
Create your own replicate-me.tar.bz2
and re-deploy your machine wherever you want.
It will preserve passwords, keys, known hosts, etc... 

It's not magic, but it is a framework...
