Could I please get a confirmation that people are able to verify this signature? I am trying out a method to sign, verify, encrypt and decrypt emails on an offline system and have them delivered via the normal email transmissions. The workflow is as follows: first, I write an email in whatever editor I can find (or otherwise - I'm using cat to write this particular one). Then I make a `clearsign' signature of it using GnuPG. Then, using Claws-mail - my normal mailer, I make an empty email and save as a draft. Claws can be configured to keep mails in separate files. After I transfer the clearsigned email to the "mail terminal", I cat the signed mail to the bodyless draft email Afterwards, I reopen the - now expanded - email in claws, edit the subject, recepient and such and send it. Reception is supposed to work by transferring the entire mail-file to the offline machine and working the contents there. My problem is that I have seen the PGP inline emails have an additional header (OpenPG: ) in them and I don't know if that will mess up reception on a random mail program. Claws powers through such emails with ease, but it's not the only mailer out there. Anyway, does this work for you? Is there anyone whose mailer is unable to parse this?
