Well, in lfs we recommend building your own kernel and slimming down the config until you have one that works for you. So, no. > I'd like to do without with apple's "magic mouse" > > James > I've no idea what the magic mouse is (my memory of apple is that they only had one button on the mouse: that is probably before your time - I'm talking ppc here). But perhaps there is some command-line option to control it. Modern (EFI) macs are outside my experience: if you have not yet built your own kernel then probably best to ask on a more-specific list. Normally I would reconnend building your own kernel (and keeping the existing kernel until the new one works acceptably), but I still remember reports that EFI can be difficult = sonsult the LFS/BLFS archives for the last year, e.g. http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/pipermail/lfs-support/2014-September/047758.html Ah, looks like Dan produced the hint: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/downloads/files/lfs-uefi.txt There was also a post from somebody on -dev with a very different view, perhaps maybe a th the beginning of this year, but my google-fu is not adequate to find his posts. > On Wed, Aug 12, 2015 at 9:27 PM, Ken Moffat <[email protected]> wrote: > And on the LFS lists we do NOT like people who top-post :) ĸen -- This one goes up to eleven: but only on a clear day, with the wind in the right direction. -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/lfs-chat FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
