We're also using it at work. We exchange a lot of data with other agencies. Saw some interesting information on what formats were supported at the following link along with some information on the history of the zip format: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/20762094/how-are-zlib-gzip-and-zip-related-what-do-they-have-in-common-and-how-are-they >It would certainly be on-topic for BLFS-support, but might not get >any answers. Like Flareon I'm much more interested in patching for >security (or for build problems with current toolchains). Was wondering what resources others use to look up security issues and fixes. I typically just check some of the main distributions (like Debian) and see what patches they've added to deal with security. I'm sure there are better ways to keep up with that type of information. Any recommendations? Thanks. Appreciate reading the comments on this topic. Thanks for the replies. Sincerely, Laura
