Another x86_64'er here. Jeremy, are you using Ryan's scripts for your x86_64 builds or do you have your own x86_64 specific one? I ask as I'm going to enbark on a build tonight and wondered whether to use Ryan's or hack one up from the book.
Well, Ryan's scripts are the authority. Jim and I are just pulling commands from the scripts and putting it into book form. The rendered book as it is now works for building x86 > x86. We have to start figuring out how we're going to add 64-bit and/or multi-lib support to it. So, as of right now, there wouldn't be much information in the book to help you with x86_64, but that's just about next on our list of things to implement. Thus, we'll need the help of testers and people who have already successfully built on x86_64.
