I think it was mostly me that wanted ash compliancy [more for the fact
that we didn't need any advanced stuff], but I agree that this is not
worth it...  [fixing hotplug (hexadecimal expansion)]

as for mountkernfs, I'll look into it.  [We dont use &> anywhere else?]
