Glad you asked Jim.

Installing the CrackLib library and having Shadow link against it
shows folks how to set up and use a word dictionary to guard against
weak passwords.

It works perfectly. Shadow natively supports it. It prevents users
of the system from creating easy-to-guess passwords.

But you already knew this Jim.
