Thanks, William. I noticed you sent your patch to the Patches project as well. I can't see this patch being something we would mandate for the BLFS book. I'm more inclined to stay with what the maintainer uses. I'm sure it would also be trivial to patch the XMMS package to use GTK2, but again, is this something we want to put in the book? For the record, I don't think it would be a bad idea however, to list GTK2 as a dependency with a (with nmap-3.81-gtk2 patch) next to it (linked to the patch in the Patches project. Noted, the patch is not named according to the Patches project naming standards and would have to be fixed. -- Randy rmlscsi: [GNU ld version 2.15.94.0.2 20041220] [gcc (GCC) 3.4.3] [GNU C Library stable release version 2.3.4] [Linux 2.6.10 i686] 12:55:00 up 141 days, 12:28, 3 users, load average: 0.49, 0.23, 0.18 -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
