I was just playing. Hence the smiley. I wasn't commenting on any other
aspect of the post other than the seemingly contradictory statement. :)
Also, I think you missed what I was commenting on. He said he went
*exactly* by the book, but then said he used a different user and
installed bc and vim in chapt 5. So, in fact, not exactly. :)
