I am doing one thing that others probably aren't. I trashed the /usr/bin/X11R6 directories and made Xorg's home(or prefix) /usr. Perhaps xorg foolishly named a library of theirs identical to a system library. I guess I will have to try a build that has no changes other than the location in which xorg is installed.
