If you'd have been following the list since the time when we decided on
making a LFS-6.1.1 release, you'd have known that its only goal was to
fix the known bugs with LFS-6.1 - i.e. no packages would be upgraded
unless it was the only way to fix the bugs and/or security issues that
had been encountered.
The major changes, including plenty of package upgrades, have already
been made in the development version of the book and will be in the next
release of LFS, i.e. 6.2.
