Can someone point me to the discussion thread that decided this change of man package? I want to review the reasons to make my own decision on it.
A quick archive search (+man-DB and then +man +Berkeley) didn't reveal anything useful other than it's a better fit for a UTF-8 system. I can see the thread about which db to use, but not the change to man-db from man. Personally, I have no other use for a DB and will probably stick with man.
