I've started listing every package dependency (will even include what's already in the book) here - http://linuxfromscratch.org/~chris/dependencies.txt - it's easy to lose

I'll take a look at that tomorrow.

dependencies that depend on a specific order. I don't know what that listing should look like though. Anyone have any thoughts on this? One possibility would be a table...

Column 1 (Package) Column 2 (depends on) Column 3 (reason)

After I review the above mentioned document I'll see if I can't come up with any suggestions as well. Of course anybody else that wants to be creative, please speak up.

I thought a while ago that they were exhausted, although the last time I went through all the packages I think I was pretty thorough, including checking all the testsuites, so I've probably got most of them.

So we can assume you call it a finished process? As finished as it can be anyway. It's in a constant state of flux anyways since we constantly upgrades packages that can throw off these dependency lists. But it sounds like we have something finished enough to work with and implement into the book after we figure out and decide on a good presentation format in the book itself.

Thanks for the work on this guys.
