There were a couple support questions on this a month or so ago. It
definitely needs tweaking. Here's something I came up with that
should return success for any time past the specfile adjustment. It
also guards against the fact that we're trying to find the glibc start
files (crt[1in].o), not the gcc start files (crt{begin,end}.o).
$ grep '/usr/lib.*/crt[1in].*succeeded' dummy.log
That should be sufficient to show that they're not being found in
/tools. It also guards against the path changing to one relative to
the gcc search dirs since it will probably be
/usr/lib/gcc/i686-pc-linux-gnu/4.0.3/../../../crt1.o after gcc is
installed.
