Hello everyone,
I have been using the new LFS udev update branch for quite some time and most
things are working, except two things:
1. My joystick isn't working anymore. The kernel recognizes the device, but
there is no /dev/input/js0 device created.
2. When I plug in my Zaurus PDA, it is also recognized by the kernel, but
nothing else happens. No loading of the usbnet module and it's submodules.
Well, I don't know, but this might happen, because there is no udev rule for
USB network devices?
I have upgraded to udev-088, udev-cross-lfs-rules, linux-2.6.16 and the latest
bootscripts, but nothing changed.
Fine regards,
Christoph Berg
Let me check into those, but I have a few questions.
1 - Did you install all the helper applications as listed in the
udev.makechanges
2 - Do you have a working system(that has udev), that you can run a few
commands on for me?
