Now that udevstart no longer gets installed, r7443 took out the attempt
to run it. As far as I can see, when we try to run grub in chapter 8 we
don't have any disk devices for it to use. I can recall seeing mount
--bind of the host's /dev being suggested in a trac ticket, but I don't
recall seeing an outcome (to me, this looks a little awkward - we don't
want the host's devices when we create a skeletal /dev/console etc, and
we can't make the mount from inside chroot afterwards). I suppose we
could add instructions to mount --bind from the host in chapter 8.
Alternatively, a clue-bat etched with a note of where we create the
disk devices during the install will elicit a "sorry for the noise"
response.

I don't see the instructions to create the devices either. Couldn't you
just start the udev bootscript? That's what I've done before...
