Confirmed :-/

Using mount -bind:

2 tests succeeded 79 tests failed

Using the old method to populate $LFS/dev:

81 tests succeeded 0 tests failed

The build logs don't show differences beyond "ok" or "failed" for each test.

I have keeped both build trees, if you need some info from them.
