Texinfo Multibyte
A non-hackish solution requires full rewrite of character handling.
Way beyond my abilities. Will submit a bug report, though.
Thanks.
Vim Mandir
This is not LFS-specific. No known version of any Man-like program
searches in the /usr/share/man/ru.KOI8-R directory.
So, I the patch is sane enough to send upstream then? Or reading below,
does that imply you've already done so?
All submitted, except for sysklogd, because this would be a duplicate of
the existing report: http://bugs.debian.org/315605
The linux UTF-8 input patch even got a response from Alan Cox.
Thanks very much, Alexander. I'll add that debian bug report to the
webpage and update the other entries to show they've been submitted. I
suppose the kbd/linux UTF-8 input issue simply needs to attract the
attention of someone with enough time and motivation to fix it. It's
good to have a respected kernel hacker acknowledge the problem, at least.
Regards,
Matt.
