In the long run, yes, descriptions of programs and libs would be great. The directories thing should be a snap, as there simply isn't that many top-level dirs for X. You decide if you have the time/desire to do it. I *loathed* doing these when the concept of the index was developed, but I suppose it was a necessary evil. And since you missed out on all that fun, perhaps you *should* do them. :-) And, speaking of this, I'd like to thank Manuel, again, for his efforts in completing those program/lib descriptions. He did many, many of them during the XML conversion several months back.
