Util-Linux has been under new maintainership for some time now, under the
name of Util-Linux-NG. A stable version, 2.13, is now out. See
http://www.mail-archive.com/util-linux-ng%40vger.kernel.org/msg00583.html
for the announcement email. The tarball is at
ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/util-linux-ng/v2.13. Not build or
boot tested yet, but visual inspection shows that both of our patches can
be dropped if this version is used.
