Agree, that would probably be a good idea. For what it is worth, this
is what I get on my test machine:
root [ /mnt/build_dir ]# du -sh tools/{,share}/{info,man}
7.4M /tools/info
7.5M /tools/man
8.7M /tools/share/info
1.1M /tools/share/man
24.7M total.
Would someone be willing to change the command on
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/view/development/chapter05/stripping.html
to
rm -rvf /tools/{,share}/{info,man}
That will cover the two spots that doco may be placed in /tools. The verbiage
on the page covers the rest.
