Well Matt just released -rc1.  I'm going to do some testing on that and 
I may test -j2 (I have a Core 2 system) after the standard tests.  I'll 
also do some testing with setting a configure cache.

Since I log everything, I'll be able to do some benchmarking too to see 
if the gain is significant.  I'll post the results.
