The attached patch from openembedded works for me. I would have thought that gcc-4.5 or gcc-4.5.1 were the likely cause, but since nobodyelse has reported it, perhaps it's a glibc-2.12 issue ? NB I'm also using --enable-kernel=2.6.33 for glibc. Normally, I would just commit this to patches once I was sure the build works, but I'm still trying Andy's suggestions for glibc so I'm some hours away from doing that! ĸen -- After tragedy, and farce, "OMG poneys!"
