Hi,
The LFS-fr team translates, without any guidelines but depending on
contributor's will, the hints of the project. Among these, the team
translated this aon
http://demo.accelibreinfo.eu/more_control_and_pkg_man_v1_4.txt. But the
translator was surprised by the
license which prevented him from publishing his work. So he wrote to the
original author who is mailed in Cc of this mail.
The author mentions that he changed the license and updated his hint.
But the update (which is on the URL I quoted) doeso't seem to include these
changes. Hence LFS, chapter 6.3.2.7 points to a deprecated hint, not
updated.
The author tell us he doesn't know why the hint isn't updated online.
"Maybe mail ignored". Could you update please? Or tell us why you do not
want to update?
I ask that here, because:
1. I'm unable to contact blfs-support (not subscribed) or hints mailing list
(on hints, no mail arrive and I've no feedback of what I sedd); Maybe attached
files prevent mail from arrive on the server?
2. The hint I mention is referenced in LFS book, chapter 6.3.2.7.
