Guys, lets be careful with our wording. These are complex things and
it's easy to misunderstand the technical aspects of what is going on and
we don't want to say anything that someone might misread and take offense.
There are a lot of things going on in the Linux world right now. Some
want to eliminate /usr -- or move /{bin,sbin,lib} into /usr. Distros
are rewriting the initialization to make it more complex (or simpler
depending on your point of view).
Discussion of these things is good and having to make multiple
explanations of concepts as a part of that discussion is part of the
territory.
Personally, I want to take our time in making any decisions. Some of us
want to push the envelope and make bleeding edge changes. Others (like
me) want a go slow approach.
Lets keep this in mind when we state our opinions and arguments.
