 No, I haven't done anything other than compare my logs from 7.1.

 My first step will be to compare what happened in older systems, in
case something (e.g. a kernel-headers used for glibc change) caused
it to no longer be installed.  Since nobody had reported it before,
I don't yet know when it was last installed on my builds.

 Actually, if it is something like -enable-kernel= that controls it,
my own builds won't usually match what happens for people going
strictly by the book (I use newer minimum kernel versions to reduce
the compatability baggage).  More likely, it's become redundant but
the manpage was left behind, or perhaps we need to enable it.

 Will also need to look at kbd-git (I cloned that recently).
