I didn't know what accelerometer did.  It is for tablets and phones to 
tell the orientation of the device.  It's doubtful it's needed before 
/usr is mounted.

It's possible that S10udev and S40mountfs could get out of sync for 
cdrom_id because it is needed for rules/60-cdrom_id.rules

All the udev supporting programs should end up in /lib/udev:
