I just try to keep jhalfs able to build that branch as well as the "normal" branch. FWIW, I think that systemd is not suitable for a basic and pedagogical system such as LFS. It should go into BLFS however, in a similar way as LVM, other filesystems and so on. OTOH, it looks like more and more packages will have it as a dependency.
