I know I said we are in a package freeze, but as discussed on BLFS: Armin said: I believe we need a policy to exactly define what exactly "package freeze" means.
And I responded: It means don't upgrade a package unless we talk it over and agree that it can be upgraded without creating additional work during the release testing period. Taking that to LFS, lets look at the tickets: #3487 grep-2.18 #3490 man-pages-3.60 #3500 psmisc-22.21 #3504 systemd-209 #3505 linux-3.13.4 I think all of these with the exception of systemd (udev) may fit into the criteria that I suggested above. Should we incorporate them? They really only need a change to packages.ent. On the other hand, we could just continue to hold off until after 7.5 is released. I'm open to either alternative. -- Bruce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
