It's been almost a year (Dec 2, 2013) since 2.24 was released.
I can't find a target release schedule for 2.25, but a binutils-2.24.90
snapshot was made available Oct 14.
I'd rather wait a few weeks than try to integrate a whole bunch of
patches.
