If I build gcc-5 on a completed svn system, it finds string at /usr/include/gcc-4.9.2/string but obviously the version in the PATH will vary depending on what the system is using. I have not changed what I'm doing in chapter 5 (the version in the build of libstdcpp is already a variable in my scripts, derived from the gcc version. That installed /tools/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/include/c++/20150412/debug/string /tools/x86_64-lfs-linux-gnu/include/c++/20150412/string I guess that the latter is wanted, and that you guys have made some other trivial change to ensure it is found ? ĸen -- Nanny Ogg usually went to bed early.
