In the current LFS systemd development book, so post the 7.8 release, I read, in the dependency listing
Intltool Installation depends on: Bash, Gawk, Glibc, Make, Perl, Sed, and XML::Parser Test suite depends on: Perl Must be installed before: None Optional dependencies: None Systemd Installation depends on: Acl, Attr, Bash, Binutils, Coreutils, Diffutils, Expat, Gawk, GCC, Glibc, Gperf, Grep, Intltool, Libcap, Make, Sed, and Util-linux Test suite depends on: None Must be installed before: None Optional dependencies: None but found, when coming to build the Systemd package that it tripped me up because it couldn't see intltool-update so I started thinking that think Intltool's "Must be installed before:" list should contain Systemd however are the "Must be installed before:" lists used for a slightly different purpose? I note that Intltool isn't installed into the Chapter 5 "Tools" environment so perhaps, as there's no potential clash, Systemd's "Installation depends on: " list tells the full story here? Kevin PS Just to say that moving the installation of all four of Tar, Texinfo, Man-DB and Vim ahead of both Sysvinit and Eudev, and Systemd and D-Bus, hasn't caused any issues to either of the two build processes. -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
