So the error is actually in xz, is known (http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00246.html) and has been fixed (http://git.tukaani.org/?p=xz.git;a=commit;h=14115f84a38161d55eaa2d070f08739bde37e966). It amounts to a sed: sed '/mf\.buffer = NULL/a next->coder->mf.size = 0;' \ -i src/liblzma/lz/lz_encoder.c It should be fixed in next xz version. Recompiling xz with this sed allows dovecot tests to pass...
