Imaging went well, and after 1 fix I had a clean boot. hostnamed was failing to start, and after applying this fix cited in the final post of this thread it worked great. https://communities.intel.com/thread/55805
i.e. I had to comment out the “PrivateNetwork=yes” line in /lib/systemd/system/systemd-hostnamed.service.
