From my systems standpoint, everything's up to date wrt LFS-SVN checkout this Saturday. From the CLFS, a quick look determined only the kernel need an update from the instructions which is not a concern for me. > Your existing kernel, provided it supports x32, should be able to > boot the temporary system. It does, furthermore, I intend to publish built images as suitable baseline to build LFS (8 and SVN) on any systems on my linode (or future hosting company should it change). These images will be made to be installed on usb keys to make them bootable.
