I had hoped to take a look at rust-1.19.0 before the freeze (because
the next version of firefox will need a newer rust). But so far I
can't get it to try to bootstrap for more than a few seconds. At
the moment I'm trying to see if a newer cargo is necessary for the
bootstrap (1.19.0 itself can install both).

I'm of the mind to let it soak for a week or so...let's get some smoke
testing in first.
