Hi all
From previous discussions, I seem to remember that .la files for
libtool are not really the way forward and with the help of Bruce's
remove-la-files script, I have successfully and painlessly gotten rid of
them.
So, I wondered if it would be appropriate for the next lfs release to
add an info of how to remove them for any packages that try to install
them. I'm still in the build process, so far "file" and "binutils" are
installing some.
