My understanding is that when the development books get rendered at linuxfromscratch.org, the patches are symlinked into lfs/svn (and blfs/svn for blfs).
So, whenever this happens go to http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/downloads/ and download the required patch(es). Sometimes we forget to upload a patch, or typo the name, but I don't think this is one of those cases. Certainly I got a mail from the patches list saying that a patch had been committed, and a later mail from the book list from when the systemd page was updated.
