I'm not in charge of it but from a recent clfs-dev email, the CLFS server recently crashed and is being reinstalled/upgraded. The CLFS book itself will probably be moved to github. So, maybe it will be up again before too long. The CLFS project hasn't been very active recently. I built from the most recent version and although the packages are a bit out of date, it built pretty well (not problem free but mostly small, easy to work through, issues.)
