Yes.  For *almost* everything I'm gping to build (sysv desktop,
without a DE) I think I've fixed things.  Among others, the pythons
will use '-g', and several packages insert their own flags after
mine (if they use -O3, I now usually assume they know what they are
doing).

But I need to update firefox in my iniital build (waiting for 67.0)
to see how the measurements change, and go through documenting
everything.
